Ca`Marcanda in Bolgheri was established by Angelo Gaja in 1996, primarily in the pursuit of making world-class wines using Bordeaux varieties. Vistamare is a limited-production white wine from the estate, made from a blend of grape varieties including Vermentino, Viognier and Fiano. This is a wine which evokes the salty freshness of the Tuscan coast. Exotic citrus fruit combines with intensely floral with notes of acacia and mint and lavender, leading to a long mineral finish.
